We keep and promote Irish traditions
Since its foundation in 1996, the Scór Sinsir and Scór na nÓg GAA competitions have been part of the Letterkenny Gaels GAA Club's efforts to promote the Irish language, music, dance, drama and culture.
The Letterkenny-based club has secured seven County titles, two Ulster titles and an All-Ireland title across multiple categories in both Scór Sinsir (Senior) and Scór na nÓg (Junior) competitions. The club is now ranked as one of the top-performing Donegal clubs in Scór within the county and throughout Ulster.

The club competes in the annual Scór Sinsir and Scór na nÓg competitions:

- Amhránaíocht Aonair (Solo Singing)
- Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht (Recitation/Story Telling)
- Ceol Uirlise (Trad Instrumental Music Group)
- Léiriú (Novelty Act)
- Bailéad Ghrúpa (Ballad Singing Group)
- Rince Seit (Set Dancing)
- Tráth na gCeisteanna (Quiz)
Hard work brings success and joy
In 2019 and 2020, the hard work at the club culminated with Ulster and All Ireland success for the first time. The performance of the novelty act entitled Packie Mc Namee delivered two county titles, two provincial titles and a much sought-after All-Ireland title in just 12 months.
Letterkenny Gaels held the unique honour of being Ulster champions in Scór Sinsir and Ulster and All-Ireland champions in Scór na nÓg with the same short play "Packie McNamee" from 2019 through to 2022.

The committee's hard work was aptly acknowledged by the Donegal County Board in November 2019 when the club was honoured with the County Cultural Award.
